Easter is quickly approaching and it’s one of my favorite holidays. It’s a time of celebration in church. It’s also a time to enjoy spring with kids and family. Of course that means Easter baskets, candy and Easter egg hunts. I loved them as a kid and as an adult, it’s fun to take the kids. I enjoy taking photos of my nieces with their Easter baskets and having so much fun looking for eggs and prizes.
When’s the last time you attended an Easter Egg Hunt? How about a mega Easter egg hunt with over 13,000 eggs! I’m ready to go. Aren’t you? The EGGnormous Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 19 at Lions Park in Zionsville. This is the go-to Easter egg extravanganza and I’ve got all the details for you.
I contacted Tara Worthley, EGGnormous Egg Hunt Chair, and asked her a few questions about this year’s event. I’ve got scoop for you!
Q: What’s new at this year’s EGGnormous Easter Egg Hunt?
A. Lions Park will be hopping with activities starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Over 13,000 eggs will be scattered throughout the Park and we are stuffing the eggs with more EGGciting prizes than ever!
(Note: some of these prizes include coupons for Kindle e-readers and gift cards from Amazon- thanks to the Lions Club’s Partners in the Park. There will also be a coloring contest and goodie baskets for the winners.)
Q: What is the cost of attending?
And the most important question? What I really wanted to know…
