If you’ve got a little extra cash floating around your pockets and you need a fun place to spend your summer, take a look at Azionaqua Swim Club in the Indianapolis suburb of Zionsville, Indiana. The Swim Club is a private, members only, family geared pool that opened in 1958 and swiftly grew from there.
What started as a small, limited family operation swiftly grew to a community of over 1,000 members. Currently, the facility is vastly improved over the 1958 version. This Zionsville business has added state-of-the-art pool equipment, a playground next to the junior pool, a basketball court, and open grassy spaces, all within the confines of a twelve acre piece of property.
More than just an open swimming pool, Azionaqua Swim Club is more like a community. This park hosts pool parties, has competitive swim teams, and offers swimming lessons for its members. The swimming lessons are based on a nationally recognized method that has helped swimmers around the United States, from the most uneasy beginners to the budding record breaker. Participants are grouped by skill level, and taught throughout ten different stages. Eventually, graduates are ready for the Azionaqua Swim Club’s swim team.
