Zionsville Music Venues

	Chatterbox Jazz Club is located in the middle of the Mass Ave Cultural District across from the Murat Theatre and the Athenaeum, The club features live jazz five nights a week, and three of the nights are without a cover charge.
	The Emerson Theater prides itself on hosting local music acts every Friday and Saturday nights. National acts perform as well, always during the week, just less frequently. According to the theater’s homepage, this house of music is “central Indiana’s largest all-original, all-ages music venue.”
	The Jazz Kitchen presents a showcase of talented jazz musicians every week. According to Down Beat magazine, a long-standing and venerable jazz publication, the Jazz Kitchen is one of the top 100 jazz clubs in the world.
	The Music Mill is a combination restaurant/concert venue. It closed briefly at the end of February 2009 and reopened on April 17, 2009, with a free concert, kicking off a brand new season of national and local acts.
	One of the rising stars among Indianapolis music venues is Radio Radio , a refined, casual concert venue that’s the headquarters for Indy’s growing underground music scene

Zionsville Bands

	American Cheese is a rock n’ roll cover band in Indianapolis that specializes in effectively delivering performances of the 80’s music we all “hate to love.”
	The Flying Toasters are a very popular Indianapolis music group that plays hits spanning from the 70’s to present day at bars around the city.
	Indianapolis music group The Goodnight Horizon is another example of a face melting hardcore band out of the Circle City. The group’s debut album, Test Your Heart, is a heavy mish mash of impassioned lyrics, guttural growls, and punishing guitar lines.
	Although Jennie DeVoe spends a lot of time promoting and touring nationally, she is Indianapolis-based and performs regularly at the Rathskellar downtown.
	Mother Grove, Indianapolis’ premiere Celtic Rock band, takes bagpipes, fiddles and other Celtic instruments, mixes them with a large dose of original rock for a sound they call “Kilt Rock.” They tour nationwide and have recorded 6 albums.

Zionsville Music Organizations

	The Indianapolis Children’s Choir has worked with thousands of kids throughout Central Indiana for over two decades, mounting an energetic slate of performances every year at venues all over the state.
	The Indianapolis Maennerchor is the oldest men’s choir in America, preserving the tradition of German choral music in Indianapolis for over 150 years
	The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir is a professional musical partner with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir prides itself on bringing professional level choral music to the Circle City.
	As one of the largest music education organizations, Music for All in Indianapolis is dedicated to making music available to all through educational programs.
	The Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis is a volunteer based orchestra that performs both classical and pops concerts throughout Indianapolis in addition to running the “Strings & Jazzy Things” summer camp.
